Wonderful 15", Freundlich Novelty, 1942 compo. US military WAAC soldier doll

Celebrating the American
history of dolls....
We salute to our outstanding, 15" tall, jointed composition,
female military soldier doll, circa 1942
, manufactured by
Freundlich Novelty Corp., New York, N.Y.
She is one of the harder to find members of a small series of
patriotic dolls
with
molded
hats produced during World War II, she is in extremely good overall condition with excellent detail to the modeling of her features with blue eyes pretty complexion and molded brown hair beneath her cap with visor & brown band. She has had no repainting or repairs and retains all of her original
green uniform
including long jacket with pockets and belt, skirt
,
shirt & panties,
tie ,brown knit stockings and brown leatherette shoes with ties
.
Amazingly, s
he still has her
original, shield label: W.A.A.C. attached to one pocket.
Excellent overall condition with no repairs,
needs repair to chipped fingers on one hand.
