Vintage Knight Armor Helmet Bottle Pourer Spout With Face Guard Metal Japan

Description

Vintage 1960's knight's armor helmet with visor face guard metal bottle pourer spout is finished in gray
and black to
look like pewter. It has a paper "Japan" sticker on the back of the neck.
It weighs 5.5 ounces and is heavy for it's size.
6" long x 2 5/8" deep front to back x 2" wide side to side.
The pouring spout works appropriately but this is also a
cool looking addition to your bar even
if used as a decorative bottle stopper sitting on a bottle.
There is a triangular shaped hole at the top where the comb meets the helmet. We don't know
why it is there but some others we've seen have the same hole (eleventh
photo).
There are signs of wear
and some surface scratches, a small area of missing paint where
the
visor face guard rubs on the helmet
on one side (last photo).
