Vintage German Boy Doll- In Traditional Costume. Condition is "Used".
The doll is made from composition. I am NOT an expert on dolls. This is a doll from Germany. It is a vintage doll so do not expect perfection. He was dispayed I think. These dolls are collectible. He came from a collector through an estate sale.
Condition is ok/not very good. The doll does have some worn areas that need tlc. He has a a larger area near his ear that is worn off/cracked composition and on his face. There is a tear in the cloth near one of the arms and appears to have some slight staining due to the age. See the pictures. It really doesn't take away from the doll itself, in my opinion. His clothes and the details in his face are just amazing. See pictures. You must be the judge of his description based on my detailed pictures. Please look closely because they are part of the description. I might not catch every single blemish or imperfection on this doll.
The hair is composition and light brown. The detail done on his face is good. His dress is probably a costume from the country. Very nice. I am pricing him lower than what I have seen on ebay due to his condition issues. If you like vintage dolls that show age, you might like thus little guy.
This is a vintage doll with no brand. I have searched and searched for something similar, but have not found one. He is an absolutely beautiful doll.
She is about 9"-10" in length.
