Vintage Composition Doll Jointed with Cloth Torso 17" Blue Wool Tweed Suit VG

For sale is a fascinating vintage doll, 17 inches in height.  It features a cloth torso/upper arms/upper legs, with composition arms/hands, calves/feet and head, with hand-painted features (blue eyes!).  The doll is wearing what appears to be a blue wool tweed suit.  The pants have a matching belt and the coat snaps with white pearl buttons.  I wish I knew the age, but I am not an expert on dolls.  I will, however, answer any question you send.
