Vintage American Character Petite SALLY JOY 22" Composition/Cloth Mama Doll.
DESCRIPTION: Blue tin eyes that open and close easily; her platinum blonde wig is glued on at the top of her head but can be removed and she has no cracks and I know what cracks are she does not have any please look at all the pictures and fall along with what I’m saying. She still has her real eyelashes and you see her painted upper eyelashes and her painted eyebrows. Her Composition arms are jointed at the shoulder. her composition legs do show some paint loss but not much. The only marking for the doll is on her chest plate on the back where it says petite now her head and chest plate are all one piece so the head does not turn. her cloth body does show stains and I didn’t do this repair but somebody stitched the material at the top of her swing legs so you can see that in the picture also; her crier is really loud. She comes dressed in her little short pantaloons her really cute slip and her dress that has rust colored polkadots this dress is original to her anyway; The slip has an eye hook and also a white ribbon around the waist; The dress has two snaps and all of it is there; her socks are vintage and her shoes Are vintage but not the shoes this doll came with; these shoes are actually shoes from the Hummel company in Germany but I thought they look great with the dress.Please do not hesitate to ask any questions and the doll comes from a home where nobody smokes
