Vintage 1974 Illinois automobile License Plate PAIR red on white number NW 923

Description

Offered for sale is a mating pair of 1974 Illinois license plates numbered NW 923. “Land of Lincoln” is printed across the top of the plate.
These have red text and numbers on white.
These plates are used and in good condition.
There is minor wear from use with minor scratches plus there is rubbing where the bolts were used to hold the plate to a vehicle.
There are marks with the most noticeable being the mark above the ‘W’ on 1 of the plates.
The back of the plates have rust as shown.
The 12” x 6” plates are not faded, have minimal rust on the front, and lay relatively flat.
The 1974 Illinois license plates have strong color and they look good.
