Vintage 1962 Illinois car License Plate Pair number EG 2968 white on orange

Description

For your consideration is a mating pair of 1962 Illinois automobile License Plates No. EG2968.  The eye-catching orange plates with white numbers and letters stand out.  The 6" x 12" pair of plates has one rough condition plate while the other is better condition.  The rough plate looks like it was hit on the ‘8’.  It dented and creased the area around it.  Both plates have no rust on the front, minimal rust on the back and have great contrasting sharp color.  The white on orange colored license plates are a great Illinois collectible.  This would look great hanging in a garage, make a great birthday present for someone born in 62, or use for whatever purpose that can be imagined.  Ships in a large plain envelope.
