~ VINTAGE 1940'S HOLLYWOOD DOLL ~
You'll love this delightful Vintage doll! She dates back to the 1940's when the Hollywood dolls were made of all composition except for the jointed hard plastic arms. She has alert blue painted eyes and lashes and red sweetheart painted lips. She has glued dark blond/light brown hair. She is wearing a pink floral taffeta dress with decorative trim and has a pink felt hat with blue flower detailing.
This doll is a part of a large bundle I purchased at an Estate Sale of an avid Doll Collector and is in quite nice condition. Her hair is a little matted in the back and there is a back section on the back of the skirt where it looks as if a 'too-hot' iron might have been used because it has a stiff and crinkled feel. The black marks on the leg are just that...marks that look like ink. There is some wear on the toe edge of one shoe.
The clothing is not removable so I can't get under the dress to see any marks, but I identified this doll through internet doll research. She is odor free and comes from (and is presently still in) a Smoke Free home.
