Up for your consideration is a promo flat used to advertise the release of Tesla’s 4th studio album “Bust A Nut”.
For those of you that are not familiar with what a record flat is:
This is a thick stock cardboard advertising piece that was issued to record stores at the time of the album's release. They were not available to the public and never available for purchase- making them that much more rare. They are approximately 12" square - about the size of a record album jacket.
Not many promo items are out there for this release. Tesla had fading popularity due to the rising grunge scene and the industry didn’t afford them a huge marketing budget for this album.
Minimal handling wear to the item. Some very minor creasing along the top corner edge as shown. No major damage of any kind. Unbelievable condition for an item of this type that is over 20 years old.
