Snow White composition doll, painted hair version

Here is another beautiful doll from my inventory at Nancy's Dolls and Antiques.
Item.............................Snow White Composition Doll, painted, molded hair version
Size.............................13"
Year............................1930's
Type...........................All composition
Face..........................Creamy complexion, red lips, white teeth, (red is on the white),and a little rub on her nose.
Eyes...........................Blue painted eyes have missing areas, black painted lashes, black painted brows
Hair.............................Black painted hair with black molded bow at front and molded curls in the back.
Body..........................Composition has some chips on fingers, lower torso is different in color than the top torso, She is not
......................................marked, a couple small flakes in her hair. The body is not as nice as the Madame Alexander or Ideal doll
......................................but then it is not as expensive either. She has been strung a little too tightly. Her legs are very good..
Clothes...................She wears her original yellow taffeta dress with navy velvet bodice and light blue velvet puff sleeves with
.....................................burgundy taffeta inserts and a blue braid down the front Her cape is black velvet lined in pink satin. I see
.....................................one tiny slit in the skirt bottom about 1/8". The clothes are very nice, clean and bright with no stains or
.....................................odors. Shoes are very worn, I may have a better pair, remind me.
Info............................She is well loved but when dressed she looks very sweet.
