Rare Monica of Hollywood Composition Doll , Human Hair

The shoes and socks are missing but the costume is original and the doll and body in very good shape with just a few scuffs. The doll is presumed to be a likeness of Monica Banister and the company created by Hans Share 1941-1951.Human hair is rooted in the top quality composition heads.This rooting has never been duplicated. Dolls were available from 11-24". They were sold in exclusive stores and expensive for the time.The dolls were sold in a plain box with a wrist tag and a note.
This doll is 20-21 ". The high cost of doll production and the low numbers produced makes this a very valuable doll if in good condition..
The doll you are purchasing is in very good shape!
There is a slight purple streak on the belly of the composition from the original skirt. I will store and ship the clothes
separately . All original. The clothes need laundering.
