    Description

    Matched pair of 1916 Illinois passenger car license plates.  See photos for an indication of their condition.
    The front plate has significant surface rust, and one extra mounting hole.  Both plates are very solid with no rustout.  They could be used as is or would make excellent candidates for restoration.
