Horsman Composition Doll, Unique Music Box, Working, Plays Silent Night! Hi. I am an adult doll collector, and I am selling some of my prized collection! Today I am listing a special Horsman doll. Her head is compo, and her arms and legs are a very nice soft vinyl. This new innovation in dolls came out in the late 1940’s. She has a cloth stuffed body. The back of the body does have a few stains. Someone has added a music box inside of the doll’s body. It winds up on the side of the doll. She also has an ivory crochet trim around the dolls arm and leg joints. There is some darkening where the rubber meets the cloth. This Horsman is wearing a nice white bodysuit. She had a lovely red and green poinsettia Christmas dress. It is brand new and has an attached white linen-like smock. It has beautiful lace trim on it. Her bonnet is ruffled and ties with a wide red satin ribbons. She also comes with white cotton pants. Her compo is in nice condition. The doll needs to be shaken gently to help her eyes open. She has the Horsman marking on the back of her neck. The music box is working and plays Silent Night, well. Doll comes wearing clean white socks.
