Carved ANRI Heads on Cork Bottle Stoppers Set of (4) on Stand Platform Vintage
This is a set of (4) hand carved wooden heads on corks.
Between each head and the cork is a white porcelain ring which makes them extra strong.
These appear to be carved by the same carver and they all have excellent detail and expressions.
The custom-made stand has nice styling and showcases the pieces beautifully. All the corks fit in nicely but also come out easily.
Not including the porcelain or the corks, the heads measure between 2 and 2-1/2 inches in height.
The wood heads are all in very good condition with only very minor age-related flea bites noted. No significant chips, cracks or repairs.
The porcelain rings have some rough edges and one has a tiny hairline crack but no significant chips, cracks or repairs.
The corks are all intact with some small cracks noted but again, nothing significant.
The wood stand has minor staining and discoloration and a small crack on one side.
The stand measures 8-3/4 inches in total length 1-3/4 inches in height at the middle. The entire piece with heads measures about 4-3/4 inches in total height.
These are hand carved pieces of folk art, done in the ANRI style. There are wood and artist irregularities that can be seen upon close inspection.
