1950s Jos. Barclay & Co. 4.5" x 5.25". Color litho on white & clear plastic.
Great figural image of the famous Corby's Whiskey parrot mascot.
What's unusual about this liquor dispenser is that when you tip it forward to pour, the bird lights up. Once his tail is removed you will see a battery holder (AA) and light bulb (GE no. 123).
This is a functioning example, though light is somewhat dim and temperamental.
A great promotional item produced for bar / tavern advertising use.
Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. No cracks or chips apparent. Colors and imagery is bright, bold and attractive.
Overall, we feel this example is in very displayable condition by most standards (see photos).
