Antique/Vintage EIH Co Inc 13” Compostion Baby Doll

Description

I will do my best to describe this sweet baby doll to the best of my ability-
She is old- (I would age her to within 20 years of the early 1900’s) If anyone can correct me on this - it would be appreciated)
Marked EIH Co Inc on the back neck plate
13” tall
She has a Composition head & neck, legs (from thigh down) and arms (from shoulders down)
Her torso is cloth.
She has molded painted hair- (paint is flaking)
Painted face and skin coloring which is flaking (see photos)
Her face also has a little bit of crazing.
Her hands have cracks in the composition (see photos)
Her legs appear to have no cracks nor crazing, but have some staining from her aged socks
Her clothing is aged and discolored, and is sewn on. Dress has “Horsman Doll” tag on back. Missing a bit of trim on front of dress.
She sits well with no support.
She was given to me in a box of dolls from a friend. I do collect dolls, but am only vaguely familiar with Horsman.
My friend’s home as well as mine is both smoke free & pet free. She has only a very mild “age” odor in her clothes-
I will wrap her with extra care before shipping. Shipping will be with USPS Priority Mail.
