Antique Doll Boy Blinking Eyes Composite Painted Circa 1940

Description

This sweet little boy is 15" tall
He is an early composition doll dating from the 1940s-teens or earlier
Gray stare when his head is upright and his eyes close when laying down
His body is straw stuffed
No makers mark on doll
His shoes are marked 'Colette', but
I'm not sure if shoes are original of doll
His clothes look new (
maybe more modern
), in excellent condition any way
He has typical crazing from age and time on his face
and serious flaws
on the back of the head, arm and hands ~ flaking (

)
His blinking eyes still work fine
