    Description

ANHEUSER BUSCH EMERGENCY DRINKING WATER 12 OZ.  ALUMINUM CAN. FULL. Since the beginning of this program in the early 1980's A-B Inc. has donated over 81 million cans of water for national disaster relief programs and firefighters. Fires, Floods, Hurricanes and more. The intended expiration dated is recommended to be 90 days. This can was intended for local residents when a contaminated water plant was shut down in Danville, Illinois in 1989. Built near a nuclear production facility on contaminated ground. Uranium and plutonium were found in the local drinking water and the cans were immediately turned over to the Red Cross for distribution. The site took more than 16 years do eradicate.
Cans shows some wear although they are full and unused. Very good condition with a few small scratches, some smudges and dents. A bit of black rubbing on edges that can probably be removed with careful leaning. Dents and impressions were common on these cans due to lack of carbonation there is no pressure to help keep them stiff and the aluminum is also very thin gauge. Very rare collectible piece of history.
I am selling each can for .00, but would be willing to sell all three for .00.
