Adorable vintage Doll, unmarked, 1940'S CHARACTER DOLL COMP. 14-1/2" tall

Here is a sweet and very cute unmarked 14-1/2 1940's (?) Character
Doll
I am told she seems all original and could be rare. The lady that checked her out for me knows her dolls!
She has sleep eyes, nice paint, dress needs to be washed and pressed but is in good condition. Shoes are very nice oil-cloth, silky old socks. There is a small dent in the back of the head (see pics) and inside on right thigh has a paint chip about the size of a nickel. If I find out any more information I will add it to the listing!
