“Back in 1996, Jim “TAZ” Evans met with members of 311 to craft a tour poster. The poster featured an alien attack, explosions, spaceships, and chaos imagery, totally fitting for the band at the time. That poster was just done in a small number for the actual shows and never released as an edition. The 311 1996 tour poster became one of the most popular TAZ posters ever, and one of the most difficult to obtain. To make the package complete, the original pencil sketch for the 1996 poster is printed on the back, with a little hand-written story of the genesis of the concept.”
