"THREE DOG NIGHT" ROCK 'N' ROLL LIVE CONCERT ORIGINAL POSTER
- Early 1970s. 14" x 20" cardboard.
Original colorful promo for August 13th live concert performance at the "Curtis-Hixon Hall" in Tampa, Florida.
Impressive graphics of band in bright shades of blue, maroon and purple. An eye-catching original sign with excellent eye appeal.
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL CONCERT POSTER AND NOT A REPRODUCTION.
Condition is considered
GOOD to FAIR
with mild surface/edge wear. Moderate spot staining & mild paper deterioration on white border areas. Three insect holes in cardboard (largest being approx. 1/16", two in blue background and one in pants of band member on left). Though apparent, we feel these holes not a major detraction to overall graphics.
Three THIN bluish-maroon "printed" lines (two are 11" wide and one is 2" wide) run horizontally through band photo (these lines are a "printing error" and NOT marring). Also, we feel these lines do not detract from overall band members appearance. Minor corner dog-earring. No other creases, holes, or tears.
Overall, the poster is clean & bright, and apparent that it was never used and well cared for over the years.
It would make a great THREE DOG NIGHT display for the discriminating POP MUSIC and/or ADVERTISING enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated (7+).
