1955 Illinois Passenger Car License Plate

Description

The CHP Museum was founded to share with visitors the rich past of the California Highway Patrol.
We strive to honor the more than 200 officers who have given their lives in service to the people of California.
Those involved in the museum consist of former CHP officers and community members who donate their time.  Items offered are duplicates in the collection or not related to our mission.
We receive no taxpayer dollars and depend on your donations to continue our mission to preserve the past and protect the future.
Your donation is tax deductible where allowed by law.
This auction is for a vintage Illinois license plate (license plate number 2616 364).  There is some paint loss to the orange paint and paint loss and scratching to the black paint (please see the pictures for a better idea of condition).  The plate bends up at the upper left corner and does not lie flat.
