1953--"SPECIAL GUIDE FOR BRIDES TO BE" (#6)--JOE BONOMO POCKET MANUAL ON HOW TO PLAN THE PERFECT WEDDING....Here's a really interesting 68 year old "handy pocket manual" on how to plan the perfect wedding....This 64 page manual, and many other similar manuals, were written by Joe Bonomo who was a very interesting character in the '50s...His family made salt water taffy at Coney Island in N.Y.....Joe was a former actor, stuntman and body builder who "used his experience in Hollywood and body building to write and publish advice to women about beauty rituals and grooming" (not my words but, hey, don't shoot the messenger)...He was billed as an "international authority on beauty, health, diet and self improvement of women's face and figure."...These manuals sold at book and department stores in the '50s for 25 cents....This 3x5" pocket manual is in overall
